My favourite German restaurant in Berlin, and I've been to a lot of them! The Schweinshaxe is brillant, and the Tegernseer beer is absolutely top stuff. Highly recommended, although no menus in English, so you need to speak a bit of German, or just order the Schweinshaxe and a Tegernseer Spezial! The main waitress reminds us of Ma Boswell from "Bread" too :).

“Best haxe in the world!”
Fantastic Bavarian restaurant, off the beaten track, but DEFINITELY worth a visit! The haxe was declared the best by my partner who has sampled the same dish when on tour all over Europe! Incredible value for money, extremely tasty food and brilliant beer! My favourite place to eat while I lived in Berlin for 4 years.

“The absolute best schnitzel in all of Berlin...maybe Germany.”
We have been eating at this restaurant for 14 years. The food is excellent quality, the prices are great and it is the place to go (off the beaten track) for a great schnitzel (11.50 with pommes and salad). I always compare other schnitzels in Berlin to this restaurant and the others never match up. It is not touristy at all and their hospitality adds to the old world charm inside.
There is an old style kegel bahn in the basement, you can rent the lane for 20 euros an hour.
Whenever we have family or friends visit, we always make sure we go for a meal and no one is ever disappointed.

“Deftiges, sehr gutes bayrisches Essen zu mäßigen Preisen”
Dieses bayrische Restaurant mit dem eigentümlichen Namen steht in Wilmersdorf und scheint sehr gut besucht zu sein. Kein Wunder: Die Original bayr. Küche schmeckt, die Portionen sind groß, das Bier paßt dazu. Die Bedienung war auch an unserem 9er Tisch nicht aus der Ruhe zu bringen und versorgte uns gut über einige Stunden!
Ein schöner Abend mit deftigem Essen und süffigem Bier! - Aufs Haus gab es einen Slivowitz-Cocktail.

Kenne das " Tönnchen " noch aus der Mommsenstraße vor rund 25 Jahren.
Die Chefin und ihr Sohn haben den Laden bestens im Griff. Hier stimmt auch das Preis - / Leistungsverhältnis. Zivile Preise bei ordentlichen Portionen.
Mittlerweile trifft man auch den ein oder anderen Berlin - Touristen an. Hat sich anscheinend rumgesprochen.
Dieses Restaurant kann man wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
Alles wirkt recht urig und gemütlich. Zeitweise denkt man man befindet sich am Tegernsee.
Auch über eine Kegelbahn verfügt das Haus.
